I honestly do not know how to describe this year in words! I am so grateful for paint and my art studio! Also, I am very thankful to my galleries and the numerous art collectors who have purchased my artwork for their homes this year! It means the world to me to know that my paintings have made a connection with you!
During these times of uncertainty and fear,
I hope you can find a safe place to rest your eyes, heart, and soul.
If one of my painting can help with this...I feel my time has not been wasted.
Here's to a bright, happy and healthy 2021!
My favorite saying, which I often told myself (and everyone) on 5E, the cancer ward at TOH: "What Ever Can Go Right, Will Go Right!"
We were so fortunate to have a break in the clouds last night so that we could see the Christmas Star of 2020! I managed to get a few pictures before my fingers and camera froze completely! It was very windy and cold out! I also captured a few pics of the moon. If you look really closely you can see a baby's face (upper right hand side, and also there's a happy image of St. Nicholas (lower center)! I see something new every time I look! Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
Some of the amazing fall wildflowers that grow not too far from my home!
Here are a few pictures from a walk around my back yard on the first day of fall. There are still a few wildflowers in bloom!
One of my favorite wildflowers: the cardinal flower. They grow along the river banks. If you stay long enough, you will see hummingbirds stopping by for a little snack!
Did you ever see a great blue heron scratching his head like a dog would?! I happened upon this fellow early one morning!
Beaver slapping his tail!
Thought I'd start blogging! I have so many amazing pictures from kayaking and canoeing out back behind my property. We live on a small river.....a branch of the Rideau. My husband and I have been here for six years now. We've been canoeing it for over 35 years! I never get tired of it!
