“My goal is to move away from the familiar imagery of nature and create a unique visual presentation that acts as a portal for the viewer to enter and embrace their own emotions, experiences and dreams.”
I am an international artist from South Eastern Ontario Canada. I grew up in a small town in western New York state. Marriage brought me to Ontario Canada where my husband and I have lived for over 39 years. I have been creating art in one form or another for as long as I can remember. My current artwork is focused on abstract paintings on canvas. I love working with acrylics and various mediums to achieve special textured effects. My main inspiration comes from the colors, textures, and sounds of nature. Additionally, twenty years of work as a Registered Nurse with oncology patients has had a significant ethereal effect on my creative process. My paintings can be found in many private and corporate collections in Canada and the USA. My artwork can be purchased through several fine art galleries in Canada and the USA.
I have always enjoyed being outdoors with nature. We live along a small river in Ontario Canada. This quiet waterway provides me with an infinite amount of inspiration. Wildflowers, birds of all types, deer, beavers, otters, turtles and much more live along this gentle river. The view is always changing from season to season and I never tire of going out on the water in my canoe or kayak to explore nature.
On another note ~ I am never bored.....
I also play the harp! Learning music was a natural part of my everyday routine while growing up. I played piano and clarinet throughout my childhood; but I didn't really know what music was until 2011 when I discovered the harp!
I studied the RCM method for several years with renowned harpist Lucile Braise Hildesheim. My main harp is a Celtic FH36 by Dusty Strings. I no longer play for weddings but I do still enjoy preforming for special events such as art exhibits and charitable functions.

Testimonials:
"Hanna performed a beautiful selection of songs at our wedding as our guests arrived to the venue. Her exquisite music set a wonderfully romantic atmosphere in the garden. She offered a selection of songs for my walk down the aisle. Everything was perfection. Her repertoire included some Celtic pieces as well as some well thought out crowd pleasers that combined to make a perfect set list. Hanna is very professional and has an infectious personality that makes her delightful to work with. Her passion for playing the harp is apparent when you watch her perform. We would highly recommend her to anybody looking to add an extra special something to their event."

"We had the absolute honour and pleasure of having Hanna play the harp at our wedding. I remember feeling so nervous walking down the aisle and as soon as I heard Hanna's beautiful and tranquil music I had a sense of peace and felt instantly at ease. Hanna is one of the most kind and beautiful people that I have met in my life; and her music and kind soul will always have a piece of my heart and my memories. All of my friends and family still talk about how beautiful the Celtic harp music was at out wedding!" (Daniela & Brent - 2016 Wedding ceremony held at The Courtyard Restaurant in Ottawa, ON)
"Under the trees by Granddad's old barn in the back yard; among the gold chairs along the creek, sat Hanna playing her harp. Her music rippled through the grounds; guiding us down the aisle, and then entertained our guests during cocktails. Her music gave our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour all of the elegance and grace that we had hoped for on our day. The sounds of her harp strings tied together all of our decorative details. Thank you Hanna, for being part of our special day!" (Jessica & Mike - 2016 Wedding Ceremony held at the family homestead in Oxford Mills, ON)
"Hanna is such an amazing harpist! When I heard her play, I knew she was gifted and I had to have her play at my wedding! Hanna was so professional and played so well at my ceremony and cocktail hour - it's like nothing could phase her; not the hot summer heat or the big audience! My guests still rave about how elegant and beautiful the harping music was and added to my wedding. Plus, Hanna made me feel so special on my wedding day! I highly recommend this amazing artist!"
